Chemical peels are the most effective way to renew the skin’s surface—without mechanical scrubbing. The SKINCYCLOPEDIA AHA/PHA Peeling Serum 20% combines alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) for deep action with polyhydroxy acids (PHA) for gentler tolerance. The result: smoother, more radiant skin after just a few applications.
Active Ingredients
- Glycolic acid (AHA) – the smallest acid molecule penetrates deepest and smooths the skin’s surface
- Lactic acid (AHA) – gentler, provides additional moisture
- Gluconolactone (PHA) – the gentlest class of skin acids, suitable even for sensitive skin
- Total 20% active ingredient concentration – noticeable exfoliating effect
What it does
- Smooths rough, uneven skin
- Visibly refines the skin’s texture
- Reduces dark spots and uneven skin tone
- Brightens dull skin
- Unclogs pores
Suitable for
Normal, oily, and mature skin with prior experience using AHAs. For rough skin, pigmentation spots, a dull complexion, or fine lines. NOT suitable for very sensitive, irritated, or acutely inflamed skin.
Directions
In the evening, max. 1–3 times per week. Apply to cleansed, dry skin. Start with once a week and gradually increase. Sunscreen SPF 30+ is mandatory during the day—AHAs make the skin significantly more sensitive to the sun. Do NOT apply around the eye area.
Caution
A tingling sensation and mild burning during application are normal. If severe burning occurs, rinse off immediately. Ideally, do not use for the first time before important events—the skin may appear slightly reddened the next day.
DO NOT combine with
Retinol (in the same application), Vitamin C, BHA (can become too harsh), strong physical exfoliants.
