What makes a good skincare routine?
The basic routine consists of four steps: cleansing (morning and evening), active ingredient serum (tailored to your skin’s needs), moisturizer (day or night cream), and sunscreen (essential during the day). Optionally supplemented with weekly masks or eye patches.

The right order — from light to rich
- Cleansing — morning and evening with a gel cleanser or cleansing oil

- Eye cream — gently pat in

FAQ on Skincare
What is the correct order for facial skincare?
The rule of thumb: from thin to thick. Start with watery textures (toner, essence, serum), then creams, and finish with sunscreen. Use acids and retinol only in the evening; use vitamin C only in the morning.
Which active ingredients for which skin concerns?
For dry skin: hyaluronic acid and ceramides. For blemished skin: salicylic acid and niacinamide. For dull skin: vitamin C. For mature skin: retinol or Matrixyl 3000. For sensitive skin: Centella Asiatica (Cica) and ceramides.
Can I combine different active ingredients?
Yes, but with a system. Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide can be combined. Vitamin C in the morning, retinol or AHA/BHA in the evening. Never apply vitamin C and retinol directly together.
Do I need sunscreen even in winter?
Yes. UV radiation is present all year round—and is even intensified by reflection in the snow. A day cream with SPF 30 or higher is the simplest solution.
Are the products vegan?
