FAQ Serums
What is the difference between a serum and a cream?
A serum has a lighter, more watery texture and higher concentrations of active ingredients. It absorbs quickly. A cream is richer, seals in moisture, and locks in the active ingredients.
Can I layer multiple serums?
Yes—apply from thinnest to thickest, allowing time between layers. Example: Apply hyaluronic acid serum, let it absorb briefly, then apply niacinamide on top. Do not combine acids and retinol.
How long does a serum last?
30 ml typically lasts 2–3 months with daily use. Vitamin C serums oxidize over time—replace if discolored (yellow-brownish).
Which serum is best for beginners?
Hyaluronic acid 1% is very well-tolerated and provides immediately noticeable hydration. SKIN REPUBLIC Hyaluronic Acid 1% or SKINCYCLOPEDIA Hyaluron 10% + B5 are good options for beginners.
